Water Conservation

Wait To Water

Wait to water! We are challenging ourselves and our residents to wait to water turf grass until May 1, along with residents from American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Cedar Hills, Lindon, and Highland. Extremely low snowpack and drought conditions require us to each do our part to conserve. Commit today to wait to water until May 1.

Weekly Watering Guide

The Utah Division of Water Resources publishes a weekly watering guide, which determines how frequently we should water based on temperature and precipitation rates. Visit conservewater.utah.gov/guide for more information.

Parks & Grounds Watering Schedule

The Parks Division has developed a watering schedule to maintain our parks and facilities. The goal is to apply 1/2 inch of water per water cycle. The frequency of watering varies depending on the type of facility and it’s primary use.
