Stop Watering by October 1
Typically, we ask water users to shut off their irrigation water by October 15 of each year. This year, we are requesting that pressurized irrigation end by October 1.
We want to give a sincere “thank you” to the residents and businesses of Lehi. We have had more success in our water conservation efforts than ever before. With the drought that we have been experiencing, we are glad that efforts have gone so well.
There are a few exceptions that should be considered. If you have just put in new seed or sod, please continue to water those. Also, make sure that if your trees or shrubs need some water to water them with a hose.
The City will be continuing to minimally water our sports fields so that recreational activities can finish their season. Additionally, there will be minimal water usage as systems are updated and as seed is added to some areas. The cemetery may be watered as needed to maintain the serene landscape and environment.
Again, thank you to all who have put in the efforts to conserve water this year. It really has made a difference!

Parks & Grounds Watering Schedule
The Parks Division has developed a watering schedule to maintain our parks and facilities. The goal is to apply 1/2 inch of water per water cycle. The frequency of watering varies depending on the type of facility and it’s primary use.
