Lehi Civic Center Grand Opening
Lehi is welcoming a beautiful new landmark in the community, the Lehi Civic Center, opening to the public on Monday, April 13, 2026! This long‑awaited facility marks a major milestone in our city’s growth and commitment to serving residents with expanded civic and community space.
For years, Lehi has been planning and building a modern hub where city government, community gatherings, and learning can come together in one vibrant place. The new Civic Center stands proudly at the corner of 200 North and 100 West, anchoring the heart of our Civic Campus and celebrating both our history and future.
What You Can Expect
The new Civic Center brings together multiple community-focused features under one roof:
City Council Chambers & Government Offices
Designed with modern functionality in mind, the council chambers will be larger and more accessible, doubling the size of the previous space to better accommodate residents and civic engagement.
Expanded Public Library
The Civic Center includes an all‑new library space nearly 11,500 square feet in size, offering dedicated areas for children, teens, and adults, plus state‑of‑the-art technology, quiet study rooms, and a recording studio for podcasts and creative projects.
Community Rooms & Gathering Spaces
Nearly 19,000 square feet of flexible public space will welcome everything from community meetings and trainings to celebrations, receptions, and other events. These spaces can be adapted for groups of all sizes.
Community Resources
The Civic Center is home to the Information Center, a convenient, one-stop resource for city services and support. Residents can get help with utility billing, business licenses and permits, reservations and rentals, as well as access services like passport processing, fingerprinting, and notary services, all in one central location.
A Design with Community in Mind

The Civic Center’s architecture draws inspiration from Lehi’s architectural heritage, reflecting design elements reminiscent of the historic Lehi Tabernacle, a beloved cultural gathering space that once stood in the heart of our community.
More than a building, the Civic Center represents a place where residents can gather, learn, engage, and celebrate together, from city council meetings and library programs to community events and public life.
