Project Type: Land Use Amendment
The Georgetown Development project proposes a General Plan amendment to change the land use designation from Low Density Residential (LDR) and Environmentally Sensitive Area (ESA) to Mixed Use on approximately 2.8 acres.
The proposal includes:
- 20 total residential units
- 10 live-work units with business space on the ground floor
- 10 traditional townhomes located near existing residential properties
A portion of the site is located within a 100-year floodplain, which is why it currently carries an ESA designation. Development in this area is allowed but requires additional permitting and construction standards to help protect life and property in the event of flooding.
