Lehi Business during COVID-19
Lehi City is following the lead of the state and will be following those measures set by Governor Herbert. The State of Utah issued an order to all restaurants, bars, and foodservice establishments to suspend dine-in operations for two weeks. Restaurants can continue curbside, drive-thru, pick up, and delivery options.
Supporting Local Businesses
The coronavirus crisis is really hitting our local businesses hard. The Point of the Mountain has created a Facebook Group for local businesses to promote their business. The chamber has also put out a list of what businesses are opened and will be updated frequently.
In this time of shutdown and uncertainty, Lehi City Economic Development should be utilized as a resource for your business. We value every business, large or small in our city. It is our hope that you are able to weather this storm and continue to grow in our great city.
In light of the COVID-19 virus, the federal government has passed a spending bill through the Small Business Administration. The State of Utah has received a disaster declaration for COVID-19. The bill/declaration is intended to make small business loans less than $2 Million, up to 30-year term with interest rates below 4%. The funding is to help cover expenses due to the reduction in revenue caused by the COVID-19 virus. Your business needs to show creditworthiness, ability to repay and if available some type of collateral. Attached is an overview of the SBA Disaster Assistance in Response to The Coronavirus with imbedded links to apply for the loan program.
