PEP Talk: Juvenile Drug Use

March 17, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

According to the Utah Department of Health, more deaths in Utah occur due to drug poisoning than motor vehicle accidents, firearms, or falls.

The Department of Health and Human Services conducted a survey that shows 20% of teenagers have tried marijuana, 11% have inhaled a substance to get high, 3% have used cocaine, and 7% have used pain relievers for nonmedical purposes.

Drug Abuse is a danger among our teens. Do you know how to recognize the warning signs? Attend this month’s PEP talk to learn more. For adults only.
