Chalk Art Contest

Monday, June 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. judging will happen at 4 p.m. 

Location: City Hall/Library overflow parking lot and sidewalk surrounding the police station.

Theme: “Everyday Heroes: Honoring First Responders and Frontline Healthcare Workers.”

Registration info: 
 Artists will be grouped by age. If competing as a team, the category will be determined by the oldest team member. Only one artist registration is needed per team, but team members must register as additional team members. Each artist or team will have a 6x6ft space (approximate) assigned to them. Assigned spaces cannot be changed. Advance registration will close on Friday, June 18 which guarantees an assigned number and chalk. Same-day entries will be accepted.  
Registration Fees

• ADULT 19 & older – Participate in the Adult Artist category as an individual or team: $25
• TEEN 15-18 years old – Participate in the Teen Artist category as an individual or team:  $25  
• YOUTH 11-14 years old – Participate in the Youth Artist category as an individual or team:  $25  
• CHILD 10 & under – Participate in the Child Artist category as an individual or team:  $25  
• Team Member – Assist a registered artist as part of their team. Please indicate the principle artist’s name in the registration form that follows: $5

Each registration includes one (1) Kross 48-piece pastel set per individual or team. Non-latex gloves, cleaning wipes, and iced water/soda, and otter pops will also be provided for registrants.
Prizes

• Best of Show: $300
• Ages 19 & Older: 1st Place ($150), 2nd Place ($100), 3rd Place ($50)
• Teens Ages 15-18: 1st Place ($75), 2nd Place ($50), 3rd Place ($25)
• Youth Ages 11-14: 1st Place ($75), 2nd Place ($50), 3rd Place ($25)
• Children 10 & Under: 1st Place ($75), 2nd Place ($50), 3rd Place ($25)
