May is Beautify Lehi Month—a time when residents unite through service, sustainability, and civic pride to make our community a cleaner, more vibrant place to live. Whether it’s planting trees, upgrading landscapes, or supporting community art projects, every small effort adds up to lasting impact.
A Strong Start to the Month
Lehi kicked off the month with two meaningful community events:
-
Community Tree Planting at Summercrest Park
On Saturday, May 3, residents gathered to plant trees, improve park spaces, and learn best practices for tree care. Whether it was someone planting for the first time or a seasoned landscaping enthusiast, the turnout reflected Lehi’s strong commitment to beautification. -
Spring Service Day with Lehi Serves
Also on May 3, youth volunteers began the morning with clean-up projects, followed by a lively Spring Service Fair at Holbrook Farms Park. The fair provided opportunities to learn about local nonprofits, enjoy food and games, and connect with fellow residents—all in the spirit of service.
How You Can Participate This May
There are still several ways to get involved in Beautify Lehi Month:
Still looking for a way to participate? Join us for the Rock Garden Community Project on Saturday, May 17, from 10:00–11:30 AM at Family Park (1999 N 600 E). This family-friendly event invites residents to paint a rock and contribute to a one-of-a-kind community art garden. No registration is required.
No artistic experience is required—just come ready to paint, connect, and leave your mark.
Planting Trees? Know the Guidelines
A street tree permit is required when planting trees along city streets. For tree recommendations and permitting details, visit our Urban Forestry page:
