The Senior Citizen Center is located in the Legacy Center at 123 North Center Street. The Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Lunches are served daily, Monday through Friday at 12:00 noon. Mountainland Association of Governments and the State of Utah provide the food daily. The suggested donation for meals is $2.00. Reservations for lunch need to be called into the Senior Center at 768-7165 by noon the previous day.
Bingo is played each Tuesday and Friday at 11:30 a.m.
A free blood pressure clinic is held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon (no appointment is needed). During the month of July, there will be blood pressure clinics on every Wednesday. On the 2nd, 4th & 5th Wednesday, the clinics will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Brent Fox, audiologist, will be at the Center on Thursday, July 23rd from 10:30 to 12:00 for hearing testing.
***The Senior Center will be sponsoring an AARP 55 Alive Driving class every other month. The class has been modified from an 8 hour refresher course to a 4 hour course. Our next class will be on Saturday, July 18th from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Call the Senior Center at (801) 768-7165 to reserve your space in the class. There is a $10.00 charge to take the class.***
Dr. Scott Humphreys, podiatrist, will be at the Center on Wednesday, August 12th from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Call the Center at (801) 768-7165 to make an appointment.
