Lehi Senior Citizens CenterThe mission of the Senior Citizen Department is to improve and maintain the health and well-being of all senior citizens in the community by providing (1) a safe location to meet, (2) activities to enrich, and (3) low cost meals to nourish. |

The Senior Center is located in the Legacy Center at 123 North Center Street. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Lunches are served daily, Monday through Friday at 12:00 noon. Mountainland Association of Governments and the State of Utah provide the food daily. The suggested donation for meals is $2.00. Reservations for lunch need to be called into the Senior Center by noon the previous day. A free blood pressure clinic is held on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Wednesday of every month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon (no appointment is needed). Each Tuesday and Friday bingo is played at 11:30. Lehi Senior Center will be having a Flu Clinic on October 27, 2006 from 10:30 until 1:00 at the Legacy Center. It is being sponsored by Utah County Health Department. The Health Department will bill most insurance plans, so please remember to bring your Medicare card or primary health insurance card. The cost of the Flu shots will be $23.00 and the Pneumonia shots will be $35.00. On Monday, November 6th & Wednesday, November 8th, there will be an AARP 55 Alive Driver Safety Class at the Center. The class is an 8 hours refresher course. The cost is $10.00 per person. Call Jan at 768-7165 to register for the class. |
