"Fostering public trust" is the statement you will find written on each of our police vehicles. I feel very strongly about keeping our community safe and fostering the public's trust. Having the trust of our community is paramount and what we, as a department, are committed to. The officers of this department are trained and tested in every aspect of serving and protecting our community. I have respect for and am very proud of each and every officer of this department. United with the community we will continue to keep Lehi a safe and secure place to live. Chad Smith Chief of Police |

Pharmaceutical Disposal

The Lehi City Police Department is excited to be participating in ‘Clean Out Your Cabinet’. This program is designated to give citizens the opportunity to dispose of their unwanted and/or expired pharmaceutical (over the counter or prescription) medication without flushing them down the toilet and contaminating local water supplies. The collected medications will be documented and commercially incinerated. No information will be gathered from anyone wishing to drop medications off at the Lehi Police Department throughout the year. All we do ask is that you do not bring any needles or illegal drugs such as Marijuana, Heroin, or Cocaine; they cannot be accepted.
Programs like the ‘Clean Out Your Cabinet’ work in conjunction with permanent disposal sites located throughout the county. The Lehi Police Department has recently acquired a permanent collection box located within the Police Department. Pharmaceutical medications can be deposited in the container during business hours, Monday thru Thursday,
