Lehi Beautification Week
Please take time during this week to make Lehi City more Beautiful. Whether it be at home or in your neighborhood, there are
many ways to improve the beauty of Lehi. Ideas; pick up garbage, pull weeds, clear waterways, plant trees and plants.
If you have a group that needs or wants to provide service during this week, we have a list of things to be done. We are working hard to improve our trails systems.
Please call our offices at (801)768-7100 x 2270, for things you can do.
Arbor Day
Did you know that Lehi City is recognized by the Tree City, USA organization? Trees are an important part of our community because they add beauty, function as windbreaks, and provide food and shelter for birds and animals.
Arbor Day in Lehi is celebrated on the last Saturday of April. Our 2010 celebration will be held at Northlake Park (500 W 2300 S) at 10:00am. There will be a tree planting demonstration and some hands-on experience as a few trees are planted in this great park. We will have a coloring/drawing contest for the younger set and a drawing for a free tree! You can also pick up a free package of Giant Pumpkin seeds to plant in your garden so that you will be ready for the Giant Pumpkin Contest in October
Get your entry forms for the coloring/drawing contest! Our theme this year is “Trees are terrific- and energy wise!”
