Parks & Trails

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide aesthetically pleasing parks for all Lehi citizens to enjoy and fun, safe play-areas for children.

Department Responsibilities

The Parks and Buildings Department is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all open recreation and leisure spaces within Lehi, as well as all public buildings. Our duty is to provide clean and safe parks for all that wish to use them. The department is also responsible for performing small park improvements, building maintenance, summer upkeep on grass and trees, upkeep on detention basins and city entrance ways, and all city building grounds.

There are many opportunities for outdoor recreation in Lehi City. With over 240 acres of parks and 10 linear miles of trails, there is no excuse to stay inside! See the hawks soar as you walk along the Historic Rail Trail, enjoy a picnic and concert at Wines Park, or play a game of Disk Golf under the willows in Dry Creek Park.

Reserve a Pavilion

There are several pavilions throughout Lehi that you can reserve for your event. You can rent one for a half-day (9:00am-3:00pm or 4:00pm-10:00pm) or a full-day (9:00am-10:00pm). The cost depends on the specific pavilion, but ranges between $25.00-$40.00 for a half-day or $40.00-$55.00 for a full-day. All of our pavilions have power and restroom facilities nearby. To reserve a pavilion, please fill out a reservation form and stop by the City Offices (153 North 100 East) to pay the fee. Reservations must be made in person on a first-come, first-served basis. Pavilion reservations are available for the current year only and may be made on the first business day in January of the same year. If you want to reserve a sports field for a soccer group, or other sports event, please contact Matt Godfrey, Recreation Coordinator, at 801-768-7124
