These wonderful tutors were awarded the President’s Service Award at our annual Green Eggs and Ham event. Together they represent over 4,100 hours of service to the Literacy Center. Thank you wonderful people!!

Our theme for our 2009 summer program was Get On The Ball! As students progressed through their reading they were given some opportunities to Play Ball!

Literacy Staff The Lehi-Rippy Literacy Center had its humble beginnings in July of 1998 in a one-room location generously provided by the city at the request of the center’s founder and current director, Hesther Rippy.The Center is currently housed in the city library building, and its tutors and students benefit from the use of forty-one computers, along with Lexia educational software and phonics-based sequentially-written readers, which provide the structural underpinnings for our reading program.
